چکیده
Abstract The present study was carried out to investigate the beneficial and toxicological effect of plant-based titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO 2 NPs) on morphophysiological attributes wheat plants under salinity stress. biogenesis accomplished by using extract Buddleja asiatica L. leaves followed characterization through UV visible spectroscopy, SEM, FTIR, EDX. NaCl salt applied in two different concentrations after 21 days germination foliar applications various TiO NPs (20, 40, 60, 80 mg/L) salinity-tolerant (Faisalabad-08) salinity-susceptible (NARC-11) varieties 10–15 application Salinity stress showed remarkable decrease selected varieties. Magnificent improvement plant height, dry fresh weight plants, shoot root length, weight, number per plant, RWC, MSI, chlorophyll a b, total contents has been observed when 40 mg/L used. However, parameters decreased gradually at higher (60 both Therefore, concentration found most preferable increase growth agronomic physiological salinity.

متن کاملResponse of Strawberry cv. Sabrina under Deficit Fertigation Conditions to Foliar Application of Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles
Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Dutch) is a widely grown fruit crop in the world due to its high aroma, taste, and nutritional value. In this study, the effect of foliar application of titanium dioxide nanoparticles on phytochemical modifications of strawberry cv. Sabrina under deficit fertigation conditions was investigated. The interaction effect of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (0, 6 and 12...
متن کاملPhysiological responses of peppermint (Mentha piperita L.) to plant growth regulators and salinity stress
Salinity of soil is a major abiotic stress limiting the crop production and growth of peppermint. The aim of study was assessment the plant growth regulators efficacy (salicylic acid (SA), jasmonic acid (JA), brassinosteroids (BRs), and non-application of hormone as control) on physiological traits of peppermint under salinity stress (0, 30, and 60 mM). The experiment was conducted using the co...
متن کاملPhysiological role of cyanobacteria and glycinebetaine on wheat plant grown under salinity stress
Salinity is an important abiotic stress that reduces growth and productivity of different crops. In many agricultural soils cyanobacteria or blue green algae are the prominent inhabitants, where they potentially contribute to improve soil fertility and crop productivity under normal and abiotic stress conditions. Glycinebetaine is an osmoprtectant compound improving plant tolerance to abiotic s...
متن کاملEvaluation of some physiological and biochemical characteristics of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes under salinity stress
Since about 20% of the world's arable land and 50% of productions in the world are subject to salinity stress, it affects all stages of plant life from germination to seed production. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of salinity stress on physiological and biochemical characteristics of some wheat cultivars. For this purpose, a factorial experiment was conducted in a complete...
